asking police wth is going on

We had some police-related weirdness at today's anti-scientology protest in London, so I spoke to the senior officer at the scene to try to figure out what was going on.

While I definitely felt like I was getting somewhat fobbed off, I decided I didn't feel like pressing it further.

Only if it's related to "security" / terrorism-risk sorts of things, as I understand it. In public half-way up Tottenham Court Road isn't gonna count in any way.

Also, remember they can never demand you delete photos off your camera. If you've done nothing wrong then they have no say in the matter, or if they say you *have* done something wrong then they're basically ordering you to destroy the evidence!

good to see the police being very well mannered compaired to other countries. Where Im originaly from they dont like to talk to people and if you use cameras in their sight well you dont wanna know what they do
