Only if it's related to "security" / terrorism-risk sorts of things, as I understand it. In public half-way up Tottenham Court Road isn't gonna count in any way.
Also, remember they can never demand you delete photos off your camera. If you've done nothing wrong then they have no say in the matter, or if they say you *have* done something wrong then they're basically ordering you to destroy the evidence!
