Conventinal wisdom doesn't dictate ft/lbs it dictates shot placement. Plus i love all the people who say its not hunting "Hunting is the practice of pursuing living animals (usually wildlife) for food, recreation, or trade" So he is actually hunting. most commenters on here cant even fathom what is required to consistantly hit tgts at long range let alone afford the cost. Keep crying how you're rambo and can get to 2 yds and we'll keep turning out the lights from afar.

@superjungleman1 Let me guess your a bow hunter that thinks OK its find to shoot Elk in the guts and in the ass and if you can't find the Elk you think thats OK because the Elk will just find in a day or two, that is common thinking of all bow hunters today .

At close range any animal can move at the time you press the triger and you miss so whats your point, or you just being a dick wad on You Tube .

@dadof3bartas The ones who complain about long range hunting are the road hunters with grandads old 98K mauser thats had the barrel hack sawed off to make it a great road hunting gun for poking out the truck window in a hurry !
Save your time these knuckle heads have not a clue what it takes to do long range shots.

long range hunting on big game is unethical, a good bump of the scope or more cross wind down range or a hundred other factors could easily throw off a bullet enough to hit a elk in the guts or in a leg and at 900 you cant make a easy follow up shot on a running wounded animal! 400-500 is the limit to a ethical shot on big game

Wow what a great shot! I have to wonder why you whisper at 925 yards. You could shout and the bull wouldnt hear you at 900 yards.
