In 2007, documentary filmmakers Lisamarie Costabile and Mark Larson followed Dr. Thomas Romo and the Little Baby Face Foundation as they treated Peyton Sherrill, a boy from Alabama who was born with microtia; he was born without his right ear.

The Little Baby Face Foundation is a New York City-based organization of surgeons and medical providers who volunteer their time and expertise to treat children from around the world born with facial birth defects. Dr. Thomas Romo, a renowned plastic surgeon, started the foundation in 2002.

This is the second half of Costabile and Larson's 20-documentary.

  • Lol. I dont feel bad for him. Think of the kids with treacher collins. Geez.

  • My daughther has Microtia of the right ear and I call her my lil nemo and I also ask her if she likes her little ear. Although her ear is all there it is just really small and without an actual hole to hear from. I am so touched by this video this little boy is so brave!!! I always tell my daughther she is special and god made her this way because she is gong to be someone very special she is in the gifted program and she hears better than me from her good ear than I do with both........=)
