oh trhis is awesome, but i im lost on 4;26 when you hit backspace on my photoshop white part doesnt desapear, what i need to do

Make sure you haven't missed a step, converting the Background layer to layer zero ( which I do at 3:40), because if the BG layer isn't converted, to a regular layer, then it won't erase.
