@hibob418 actually this isn't the real house, The real how was NOT located that close to the street,
-
@tazer5 sorry but hibib418 is actually right this is the original house, its just dressed slightly differently for this film.
-
actually the one shown here is a replica not the real "the munsters" house.
When production on "The Munsters Today" began in 1988 the original house could not be used. Producer Arthur Annecharico knew the house was as much a part of the show as the characters, so set about constructing an authentic scale model replica. Stock footage from the old Munster movies were used in the pilot episode."

Yes, it's the Munster's house, and it's still there on the current "Desperate Housewives" Wisteria Lane at Universal, although it's gotten a makeover or 2 since this shoot. Ward, June, and the Beaver's house is just down the street, too.

It's getting stranger by the minute! It's like Dragnet in the Twilight Zone, or something!
-
can the Beaver come out and play? It seems more like it's the Bates residence - the music stinger is from Psycho and Hanks refers to Nightmare on Elm Street.
Beleive it or not, in the original Dragnet 1968 series, episode: The Investigation, they pull up in front of the Munster house also!
