richone99 I observe repect your view on this matter,it is your right 2 exercise,but,2 say Mexicans revel in death -implying about the on-going drugs wars -as your `evidence` is narrow-minded,which I am certain was not your intention.IT is great insult to many, police, army, journalist,po
liticans that have been killed fighting these criminals. As an ANGLO-SAXON,protestant(and a Brit)I HAVE Made observations in Mexico, they do not revel in death-it comes 2 us all-but remember the dead for their lives. -
Mexicans revel in death, this explains the Cartel butchery taking place. The Catholic church itself has a monstrous reputation in murder and mayhem,(the inquisition, slaughter of pagans, crusades). The pagan aztecs with their heinous sacrifices to their gods permeate the minds of the typical Mexican. This holiday rightly represents their true god, Satan, "who was a manslayer when he began". "The living are concious of death....the dead are concious of nothing at all..." Ecc. 9:5,10.

Dia de los muertos is more than a thousand year old tradition. The pagans had nothing to do with it. Spaniards actually tried to wipe out that tradition with no luck. All saints day is NOT the same as "Day of the Dead" holiday although it was mixed with catholic religions for fear of persecution.
