i hav a question. how do i clean the electronic knives? i mean in the victorinox manual it said to open the parts in hot water, wont this short circuit it?

Yeah, I would say you shouldn't immerse this knife in water. I clean this one by just opeing up all the tools and cleaning out the lint and dirt from the inside with Q-tips.
