Tidal Wave Trailer - Out on DVD Oct 12th, 2009

Koreas first disaster movie is here, complete with special effects by acclaimed Hollywood CGI specialists Polygon, the team behind the Star Wars prequels, The Day After Tomorrow and The Perfect Storm. During the busy summer months, the narrow beach of Haeundae is packed with up to 1 million vacationing Koreans. On one such day, marine geologist Kim Hwi (Park Joong-hoon) realizes the Korean East Sea is showing the same signs of activity as the Indian Ocean prior to the 2004 disaster. Heading to Busan to warn the authorities, he meets his ex-wife, and with her, a daughter he never knew existed. Meanwhile two other couples are about to reach turning points in their relationships, when disaster strikes! One of the most expensive productions in Koreas history, Haeundae blends the drama of interwoven relationships with the high octane thrills of the traditional genre.

Also, i don't know why they called it Tidal Wave for it's international release...very lame! Should have left it as Haeundae, then i think more people would be interested in it!

This is a Korea movie. The translation is kinda wrong. The movie isn't called Tidal wave in Korean. It's called Hae-un-dae, which is a district in South of South Korea.
