i work for fedex and 99% of the reason we return YOUR package is because u gave us an incorrect address to begin with or the address got water damage from pickup or was rubbed off on conveyors, nice try tho

next time bring it to a fedex office and let them put a whole label on it. the 998 label that you used does not include all of the information in it that a full label would. it only includes the shippers address and the ship to zip code, so if you didn't print legibly, then there is no way to know where it it getting shipped. and unless you wrote your phone number on the package, there is no way for us to contact you before sending it back for having an improper address on the package.

Why are you shipping ground from your home? ground and home delivery are for businesses to ship. not for home or even home businesses to use. The reason is ground is not set up to fix stupidity and individuals don't take the to fill out paper work and and whine and complain to much when they do something wrong and want to blame everyone else.

If they don't put the corrected address on top of the old one, it will get sorted to the wrong zip again and the box will end up in "package limbo!" Also, the label placed over the incorrect address is designed to peel off and leave the underlying address intact. If the correct zip had been used in the first place, there would have been no problem.
