  • Stop moaning about the costs. It isn't cheap to operate. They will be making fuck all profit on this. Big up to Sir RB for making this happen.

  • i see a lot of people complaining about the whole 200k USD to use this thing. Yes by all means that is still out of reach of the average guy, but hell, thats leaps and bounds better than the several million dollars of each of NASA's launches. Of course it is a bit unfair to compare the two, but it is still space flight at the end of the day

  • It is very strange to think in 100 years we have come from the first person in space to sending tourists into space.

  • Well i know in my lifetime i may not get chance to experience it :) but its a good thought for the future of my kids etc, or their kids, because after a few decades, space flight will be as cheap as a flight we have for a holiday to spain :)

  • @5teampunker I'm not moaning about it, but I can assure you that the majority of people (even in richer countries) do NOT have 200k to spare.

  • Oh crap, where did I leave my spare 200 K? I will just have to find my flying pig to take me to my money tree...

  • If we get that much disbelief from mentioning it, imagine what Richard branson endured while the project was in its infancy, but i suppose that is the mark of a true visionary: they never give up

  • You got to give em credit. Just look at how many views this has. This should have way more. It has yet to properly reach the international conscience. I have been following this development for over 5 years now. Whenever i have mentioned this or commercial space travel to my pears i have just been laughed at. Well not only is it now an actual reality, with working spacecraft, but virgin recently began construction of the space port.

  • @flynny42 well i think it's worth enough..not all people could go to space and it becomes dreams to all people..now we don't need to be astronaut to see how beautiful of outer space

  • The problem is that one day space travel will loose its magic. Soon everyone will go to space. Maybe the next challenge is going out of the milky way! XD
