  • Ode to threadbanger (subliminal message here!) I found this cool series one cold day last year when i was so bored i could have chopped of my ear it's super cool so much diy to be done and then u had a contest to win a sewing machine i wanted that janome 'sew' bad but i was a day late entering. . . duuudes!!! I hate to be a brat, posting comments left and right, but we need another Janome Contest!!!!
  • lol don't worry, we're going to have another one!

  • That is freaking cool. I'm going to try it out at the bottom of some of my old skirts. Thanks for posting!

  • Awesome! be sure to send in some pics.

  • Earthy Tip: Cut up 10 in squares of cotton sheets and add a rolled hem to make handkerchiefs. Make a whole stack and put folded ones in your hoodie pockets, jean pockets, and your messenger bags. Wash 'em with your laundry. Wiping your nose with recycled fabric is so much nicer for the trees!

[Hint: Wash with unscented detergent so to avoid allergies.]

  • Great tip!

  • The crocheted neckline is terrific. I never would have thought of using strips of scrap material to make a perfect match.

  • OMG this is AMAZING!!! I never thought that I could combine my love for sewing and crochet into one garment! It looks fabulous! I could even make a great dress with this technique. THx threadbanger!!!

  • This was so freaking cool...the only thing is, im going to try it with yarn instead of the shirt materials and see how that comes out. This was one of the best things i've seen.
