there are a lot more evil things that capitalism contributes to the world than this issue. Good morning america is the epitome capitalist greed this is a ridiculous story because it is obvious that some evil bank firm is going to take a life insurance claim on on some middle management employee. We should be concerned about the big things that are wrong with capitalism i.e. over consumption, NAFTA, free trade policies that breed sweatshops. watch manufacturing consent it is more informative.

This has been the "norm" for hundreds of years. Ship building companies had insured employees to promote continuance in production to meet customers needs and to sustain economic growth. You think your favourite NFL franchise doesnt insure its players? What happens if the star player suddenly parishes in a car accident?

Again with the emotion. Does getting upset about it make it make your point valid? I don't get it.
My final comment on this subject is simply this: If you are an employer and you are paying to have people trained in a position and you're paying good money to have a specific job done, you are making an investment in that employee. As an employee, I respect the investment they are making and encourage them to protect that investment by getting life insurance on me.

And explain why it's somehow morally corrupt to protect yourself from the negative impact of a death of an employee. Tell me why it is harmful to anyone or anything, other than your vague, philosophical musing.

If you have enough liquidity lying around to pay for a policy for your neighbor, I don't see the immorality of it. As long as you're not contributing to his death, then nothing is actually done.
