  • @chunhenmad If it doesn't work for you the factory partition might have been overwritten already or damaged. you will need to reload the old fashion way via external dvd drive and xp home disc.

  • @camrey619 Not certain haven't had to do a windows 7 machine but it should have a restore option also anyone else have any experience with win7 versions..

  • @biggonyou i have a acer aspire d255 and it just doesn't want to restore.. it keeps saying: please complete operating system setup process before doing system recovery

    it is bullshit.. because my system won't boot anymore.. i am lucky that it isn't my main pc...

  • @basbas63 your factory image could be damage or not present, you will have to do it the hard way! standard usb external dvd drive and windows disc.

  • @biggonyou i figured out it was damaged... but that is certainly not my fault since i didn't change any partition settings.. and i changed one either.. i just used it like normal.. but ah well screw it.. ubuntu!
