Seeing as how oil is not a renewable energy, and the US, has some of the lowest gas prices in the world compared to income, the US alone (4% of the world population) burning 25% of the world's oil isn't sustainable.. And that the President doesn't control oil prices, oil companies and speculation does, I don't really get the point of this video..

I guess you missed the comment about "energy prices will necessarily skyrocket". You also missed every instance where Bambi blocked every fossil-fuel based drilling/exploration/pipeline proposal? Are you the kind or person that has to be explicitly told THAT you are being screwed, WHILE you're being screwed?

It was over $4 a gallon under Bush. In the summer of '08 we had higher nationwide averages then we ever had under Obama. The 1.84 only a few months later in Jan '09 was due to the crashing economy. It is still below the peak prices under Bush.

well, it looks like it has been a "gradual" adjustment seeing as they were only 1.84 when Mr. Obama was inaugurated and now they have doubled!
