The Dreamcast is a wonderful system, but company problems and competition with PS2 was too much of an obstacle to oversome, Im glad SEGA is still around to make good games just like ATARI(which doesnt do many good ones imo) SEGA was at one time my favorite company the first system I got was a Genesis, though now I have Playstation's, I also play the Genesis and the SNES...for the record my first dvd player was a PS2, it was one of the reasons I bought the system that and backwards compatability

@happyugly123 Dreamcast didn't fall because of sony, it fell because of loss of CD sales due to piracy, because of the DVD player. Hardware sales were still going like crazy, but everyone was just downloading their games online.
