Dude yes he did and Lars used a double bass set in the music video and on tours
he started using the dbl bass pedal in like 2000

no effense or anyting but let me tell u somtin.....metalic"s drum player has double bass pedal so u didnt do the darkness solo the rigght way cuz its all pedal!!!!!!!!!!!! i still LOVE ur vids just wanted to tell u
