Lake George July 6-8 2009

Uncle Frank and Aunt Sue reserved two island camping sites on Turtle Island in the middle of Lake George, NY (sites #28/27 to be precise). I went up on Mon-Wed. Aunt Barb, little William and Adam, a friend of Uncle Frank's from work also went. Weather was good off and on. Camping was relatively unaffected by the weather. Fishing was abundant but mostly small size. Hear that the fish are growing bigger on Thursday...natch! We accessed the campsite by boat out of Norowal Marina in Bolton Landing. Took approx. 4 hours to get from Lindenhurst to Lake George Village by car. The paddle boat is in Lake George Village while waiting for the crew to arrive. The last part of the video is dark but you can get a feel for how peaceful the lake island camping is.
