As requested, a breakdown of the 'Ascending Legato Run' from the Scarred Solo (Dream Theater, Awake).
Hope this helps those of you who asked me for tabs and tips on this section.
IMPORTANT: I can't guarantee you these are the fingerings John Petrucci uses, nor if all the notes were transcribed correctly. This was ear tabbed by me for my own use. Feel free to learn whatever part you think is accurate and disregard the rest.

Well, you really gotta play to get some thicker skin on the tips of your fingers. Time and practice together solves this problem. :)

LoL, just so anyone doesn't misinterpret me. I don't hate tabs! They can be very useful. What I hate is DOING them myself. :)
