  • Why would you post saying someone's music is boring, like seriously, that shows no class.

  • Obviously BS's music was more challenging and exciting to you. You worked on it and lived with it for months. And you have the right to be proud of your product. But your biased view of what is "challenging and exciting" and what is "boring" is simply just not credible when put up against the unbiased opinion of a professional judging panel. As fan of both bands, you both had great shows. Bands producing great shows like every band did this year is great for the future of SC marching bands.

  • @thisisawesome1321 It's really just a matter of opinion. ROTC is more focused on the physical condition of the body whereas marching band is more about the musical and visual aspect. Usually our visual instructors are tolerant about mistakes unless the same mistake is made multiple times and you aren't doing anything to fix it or your mistake(s) effects the people around you as well. I can't really say much for ROTC as I'm not a part of it but I'd imagine it's similar.

  • omg! :) i'm in the 8th grade Moultrie Middle School and im going to go to this high school and join the Marching band/ROTC and i've been told that The marching band instructor is Harder on you than the ROTC leader... can anyone help me w/ this statement?

  • State champs 2010! Congrats Wando!

  • @lhsdrummer1 what? and most of the people standing there are there because they can't march as well as some others....and not all of them were freshmen. A lot of freshmen marched last year. It all depends on how well you play as well has a well you can march..not if you're a freshmen or not! and being big does not make you good...if anything it is way harder to get that many people playing well together than it is a smaller group. just relax and stop hating on other people for doing well!

  • You guys recycle ur music but not the drill which is good but i did love the opener song

  • @lhsdrummer1 Were you even watching the video? We're not some BOA band that stands still when they play. We halt at hits.

And no, its not because there's a lot of people. We're not even a large band like some groups, such as Avon (something like 208 marching members I think)(if you say they don't deserve to win, I'll just laugh at you). You don't have to be big to be good. You just have to work hard. I challenge you to find a band in the state that works as hard as we do. Thats right, you can't.

  • @lhsdrummer1 are you serious?
