@MegaBrendonC Dude, it's in your embouchure. I encourage you to check out Walter Beasley's "Sound Production for the Saxophone" app for iPhone. He also has it on DVD. He talks about the "O" embouchure where you rest your teeth on the top and lip is relaxed and all pressure is controlled with the sides of the mouth. This keeps you from chewing through your mp and you can save money my friend!

@ErikClearMusic I personally like this one type of mouth piece but my teeth the way they are shaped causes them to groove into the mouth piece causing it to wear out so i have to get new ones every year
-
@MegaBrendonC stick with one man. I've been playing for a while myself. Stick with one and learn it. :) All My Best

@ErikClearMusic Its like $10 used and yes they are very expensive I have been playing sax for a long time and have gone through a number of them

@gavinmalachi3399 you could probably use like a filter of some sort, that might make it look more like a sax. And thank you!

First, that was an alto piece in the video.
Second, they're not $10. The soprano piece he showed us in the materials section was a Vandoren V16 ... the thing is at least $100. Now how do you measure the pipe to keep it in tune?

@ErikClearMusic that was NOT an alto mouth piece, you can clearly see it says s7 on it, the "S" represents "soprano". Second, I was simply using that mouthpiece picture to show what a soprano sax mouthpiece looks like, i wasnt trying to imply that that particular mouthpiece was $10, you can most definitively find a $10 soprano sax mouth piece.
