Great show by David Byrne playing songs from his collaborations with Brian Eno over the past 30 years (including their fine new album, 'Everything that happens will happen today') and the 3 Talking Heads albums that Eno produced. Not sure if the lyric mixup in the second verse was intentional or not.

  • I think Tina and Byrne are old enough to sette their differences now. After all these years, they should look back and see how much better they both were as a band. How much better THEY all were.

It's their choice of course, but I think they would mak themselves and millions of other a much happier by reconnecting

  • love this but loved him and tina more together on stop making sense abs awesome

  • My favourite song....amazing...!

  • what was the dispute between the two? was it the band vs byrne or was it just those two colliding?

  • @mankeymunkey 21st January 2009

  • mind you, heaven is certainly not in Singapore. And I'm local.

  • WHEN THE F**K DID HE COME HERE??? I CFB I MISSED IT

  • @aDash0fDisaster davids done ok . what about tina?

  • I think the fact Tina wont get involved says more about him being an ego maniac then her. Loved the band, but there's always a nutter that ruins it.

  • Why exactly does it appear as if the only part of David Byrne that ages is his hair? (Must be the video quality)

  • @aDash0fDisaster David told Jerry before the Rock & Roll hall of fame induction not to ever bring up the idea of getting together again. The R&R performance will be the last one. I have the R&R videos on my channel if anyone wants to see them by the way.

They could not possible create the same sort of music they were before the break up....no group that ever got back together ever does. All of them when in a different musical direction.

  • @aDash0fDisaster Sounds nice, but it's a pipe dream. Their careers have moved on, sadly.
