@theeponym The song is very deep....most of Dave's songs are.....most people just dont bother to listen to the words...I have followed him since the mid 90's.....I used to see him twice a year every year until I fell ill..his songs have meaning.they arent bee bop songs....they arent about killing cops or gang banging....they are about things that everyone can relate to.....as far as the reference you speak of, I dont know what song you are talking about I would guess he is pleading with Jesus

@theeponym Man, if your explanation is true this is much deeper than I ever imagine. I have to ask how do you explain his reference to f-ng Jesus in one of his newer songs? Sadly, it turned me off for quite awhile. Please explain.

*Sigh* another song that just cuts off at the end...makes it really tough to broadcast over the air, a simple fade out would have been nice.
