"War Is Obsolete". As a policy tool, violence is no longer achieves what it was designed to do. Hegemony & occupation are solutions only for the thick of mind living firmly in the past. From my album "WISELY" Directed by Brent Roske

  • i really love this song, and i am impressed with this wonderful video. thank you, ww!

  • Hats off to Brent Roske for shootin and editting the thing. I think it tooks us three hours total!!!! I'm singing along with the song slowed down to 25% of it's normal speed. Each take of the song took 15minutes!!!

  • You know what would be cool...if Jenna Fischer hosted SNL and you were the musical guest

  • There is a team of attorneys working on that right now.

  • Fantastic video, and wonderful lyrics. I can't believe I didn't know about your music until yesterday at Tooch's! I have some catching up to do :-).

My two favorites from the new album so far are this one, and Ella (I prefer your acoustic version, but both are great).

Still hard to believe Bush won in 2004. Obviously I'm living in some alternate universe, because I just don't get it. Here's to being optimistic about the future, hard as it sometimes seems.

  • thanks for all the loveliness... the show was such a pleasure last night!!! Here's to the obsolescence of war.

  • yeah, i realized you're a wonderful actor as well.

  • Love the song! I wish I could write songs the way you can...

  • Yep, it's about the old way of looking at power and hegemony... I hope things can change... as Bush leaves office perhaps maybe so will overblown militarism... I'm n ot holding my breathe.

  • I did not realize that this was an anti-war/anti-Bush song. I took it as being about a relationship limping to a finish. Then again, ours with Bush is doing that, so perhaps I was still right. Still soaking the album in at this point, so I guess I'm allowed a little density. Nice video, cool song...though I'm more of a sucker for the acoustic version, mood depending.
