I have to agree. It is hard to not want to play like SRV (he sounded so bitchin') and this guy has a pretty good handle on the playing and tone but we have all heard SRV. I would say take SRV and make it your own like he did with Hendrix then you'll have something special. Nice playing though. Keep on reaching for it man!

Doyle Bramhall now he has his own sound but at the same time carries on the tradition of great guitarist coming from Texas.

Spulank, sometimes it's just not feasable to bring on someone to jam if it's a big show. Doesn't make them assholes. And Marshall, these guys are very good at what they do, but it's not really all that original. To make Austin City Limits you've gotta have your own thing goin. Please don't get me wrong, this guys a motherfucker on a guitar, but it's just not original
