http://twitter.com/dereknicoletto Derek Nicoletto does an artist-on-artist interview with The Raveonettes at Sirenfest 2009 presented by the Village Voice in Coney Island, New York. Sharin Foo and Sune Rose Wagner joined me in front of muscle beach to talk about their summer plans (Sirenfest, Lollapalooza, Austin City Limits) and their new album, "In and Out of Control," available October 6 2009. Sune and I compared our tattoos (mine is bigger) and diva tee shirts (Madonna, Kate Moss). The Raveonettes gave me their thoughts on my two fave Raveonettes videos: "Aly, Walk With Me" and "Black/White." Since everyone is in a new found Beatles craze, I asked them about their favorite Beatles songs. Coney Island was sweltering hot that day, their set was at 6 p.m. and they were there at 9 a.m. for soundcheck with interviews like these all day in between. Directed and shot by Julian Rad of Works Productions. Copyright 2009 Derek Nicoletto for 7 Trick Pony LLC and Works Productions. Background music: "Ugly, Broke & Sober" by Telling on Trixie
