Paris Olympic Torch 2008 - First Spot to see Torch/Arrests

I visited Paris for a few days and managed to get an incredible spot to view the 2008 Olmypic torch relay. I was positioned as one of the first spectators to see the torch and also one of the few to record the first arrests of a long day of civil protest in Paris. My tagged location is within 5 feet of my actual location on 7 April.

That's what I puzzled ! French policemen even cannot protect "Olympic torch", are there anything else they can do? Their weakness and stupidity is outstanding! It's a shame of France.
