This code looks like a code from a video game called "Riven" or maybe "Mist". The characters are numbers. Did you find any clues in the game itself? The clues seem to indicate that a bone is missing from the game, and that the space it goes into may have a hidden clue. Were both games missing the same part? The clues sound as though they are from a local radio show promotion, did you check with local radio stations? It must be worth something if the hunt allowed for leaving these games forgotten
