METROBANG, is a sound instalation that captures and reframes the frequencies and noise from vinyl records and translates the information into a sequence of synthesis of low and granular synthesis. The turntable - equipment popularized in the '70s - was adapted with a electropiezo to capture sounds from the needle and process audio signals in the free software Pure-Data. The data are processed in real time and transformed into a sound non-linear readjust the parts of the disc played. The User interacts with the frequency, changing speed, volume, pitch and other effects with the touch of the instrument and the exchange of disks. The frequencies of the disc are displayed in ASCII format on the computer terminal.
