A clip showing how glossy my resin pieces are. This is one of my first oil, mixed media and resin pear paitings. There are real flecks of silverleaf in this painting!

  • I have tested these since 2002. Yellowing on my first couple of piece was minimal but I also was not as experienced. I got it right now, and change in color over years is really not an issue. They also keep well in bathrooms!

sherrykarver: I pour it on, one shot deal, sometimes 2 coats. No brushing on ever, you have to play with a popsicle stick to get it around. Can handle acrylic or oil bases. I can't mention the brands on YOUTUBE sorry!

  • thank you! my amature video is hopefully soon going to be updated to a nicer more professional looking clearer version. I just need a camcorder!

  • Lovely pear painting! You never mentioned exactly what kind of resin do you use? Could you share that info? What brand do you use, how many coats, is it on top of oil or acrylic? Do you pour or brush it on? Thanks.

  • Resin is pretty shiney. Will there be an issue of it yellowing with age?

  • Very nice I like the shine.
