These are just several points from a couple top collegiate players in 2008. This match was the finals of the 2008 ITA Northwest Regional. Alex Clayton is the right-hander, and Bradley Klahn is the left-hander.

  • nice backhand slice at 0:15

  • @AceGuitarR7 Sorry to come in with the conversation, but I checked your practice video and the guy you were playing had a 50 mph serve. Clayton has 100-120 mph for a first serve. I'm just saying, I don't think you could compete with Clayton and I can't either.

  • 1:11 Lazy feet.

  • Thanks, Cal bears! This is my favorite video! I play very similar to Alex along with a one-hander and I always look at the zoom-in on him because his feet are really MOVING along with his smooth, small and compact strokes!(helps me with my game alot!) I intend to go to Stanford also even though people say its impossible. ITS NOT! No one is going to take my dream away :D. If my dad did it when he was 15, then i can do it too!

  • College application: search August Erickson

  • @HisCarlness Maybe cause the video was recorded from high up?

  • @HisCarlness they're playing midday.. the shadow of the net itself makes it seem lower...

  • pwnage backhand @ 1:24

  • @AceGuitarR7 the guy you are playing in this vid is terrible he wouldnt make it in a D-2 college let alone top 50 nationally, cmon any real player can see that there is no way you could compete with klahn or clayton right now maybe in the future after more practice but as of now there is no way. we are all competing and working to become as good as these guys and better, so dont say you can compete with them, just work hard and prove it.
