  • its frame skipping at 0:03

  • @SunnyShawFilms I agree that the footage looks jumpy on YouTube. Not sure why (I don't remember that being the case when I first posted it). The original footage doesn't have that artifact.

  • Although the camcorder supports 1080/60i, 30p, 24p frame rates, only the 60i is available in the slow motion mode. Slow motion extends 6 sec into 24 sec, thus, the effective frame rate during slow motion recording is 60*4 = 240fps.

  • Yes, the rope swing is on Squam Lake. The water skiing footage is on Little Squam.

  • so this camera works on tape............

any idea how can i sync the videos into my computer ?

    p.s i'm using a MACBOOK .

    thank you.

  • @halfhourof8MuSt You capture footage via the FireWire interface. I have a MacBookPro. I purchased a FireWire/USB ExpresCard/34. This provides the IEEE 1394 (aka FireWire) interface into the Mac. I use iMovie to capture the footage. Once the camera is connected to the computer and powered on, iMovie recognizes the camera for import. It even breaks up the footage into distinct files based on when you started and stopped recording. Very easy.

  • What was the recording framerate?

  • ya that's definitely squam lake

  • is this squam lake new hampshire because i think i have been on that rope swing

  • is this laconia new hampshire because i think i have been on that rope swing

  • I dig this camera so much I bought 3 of them! ( I do weddings, events and music videos) The only thing I don't like about this camera is the that annoying little proprietary video/audio out plug. And the fact that it records in compressed video, so any green screen stuff will be a bare to work with.

  • @intruder291 thanks a LOT ^_^
