The first video on Youtube completely on the Toshiba T1100. The T1100 Plus is the next generation from the T1100, the world's first mass-market laptop. This vintage laptop first went into production in 1986 (a year after the T1100):

Operating System- MS-DOS 3.2
RAM- 640K
Processor- Intel 80C86 (7.16 Mhz)
Weight- 4.5Kg
Batteries- Last Up To Eight Hours

Unfortunately I don't have the right bootdisk for it to work.

  • You said that you have problems with it reading floppy disks? I have a T1100 plus that I take to school regularly and take notes on it! I've had the same issue, and it was because the floppy drives will ONLY read 720K floppies, not 1.44MBs. If you only have 1.44MB floppies, there is a square hole in the right bottom corner of the disk (not the write protect slide). If you cover it up with tape, then the laptop will read it correctly, but you may have to format it. Hope this helps!

  • @Valveman11 I have MS-DOS 3.2 on both 1.4MB and 700KB Disks, but unfortunatly it is not able to read them, thankyou for the help anyway.

  • @FsxAirlinePilot 720KB not 700KB
