Michael Scheuer talks about American hand in Iranian riots

Michael Scheuer is the former head of CIA's 'Bin Laden Unit'..The world in the words of President Obama is 'observing' the political situation of Iran and hope that the people won't feel 'betrayed' by the outcome of the elections..But as we all know that the American administration has been pouring in millions of dollars for years to stage a regime change in Iran similar to what they did to the Democratically Elected Prime Minister of Iran Mohammed Mosaddeq back in 1953 just coz he nationalized Iran's oil reserves..

But unfortunately today some politicians of Iran like Rafsanjani, Khatami and Mousavi are fearing loss of power from their own corrupt circle and unto a populist leader Mahmoud Ahmadinejad..This is probably the main reason why they are trying their best to fuel a popular unrest and stage a coup within Iran..

@ticklemegangrene Ok lets say the US administration is interering with their politics, which is obvious. What does that have to do with opening fire on unarmed protestors from rooftops. What does that have to do with torturing and raping detainees male/female after they are arrested? Did BART police also do those things? I am not agreed with US foreign policy in the middle east, but I will never defend dictatorial regimes, never try to justify their suppression of their own people.

Why did BART police in San Fran shut down cellphone networks? It was obviously to stop protestors from organizing.

I agree I dislike measures like this and demand the right to protest but unlike in San Fran we know the US administration has been interfering with their politics for years and recent attempts to control the net do not send good signals to foreign people/gov's about us.

Why did they kick out all the foreign media after the election. Why did they shut down SMS text services right after the election. Why did they shoot people from rooftops? Why were people tortured and raped in custody after the election. Why???

The elections were not rigged.

Public opinion poll after poll conducted by reputable international agencies shows that Ahmadinejad got 60% of the vote. Mousavi only had about 30% of the vote and the moment these anti-regime protests began I believe his support base was cut by half down to just 15%

When will the media stop pandering these lies about the country and when will the government in the US finally tell us the truth about everything we've been doing in the region?

I may not agree with all what he says, but Michael Scheuer is one of the most honest American I have heard.and I respect him greatly for it. He tells it like it is. Too bad there are not many more Americans ike him.
