It's not a dirt bike motor.. It's a Type R version of the Tanaka TC-47. Tanaka designed this for a upgrade motor on BladeZ powerboards and karts but it's all out of production now.

Yes, this engine had a Koso boost bottle on it. It makes the tuning leaner, correcting the factory double rich mixture which also allows higher tuning. The overall throttle response and smoothness in the powerband is better.

how hard was it to put the boost bottle on. i know you have to drill but how hard was it. i have the power tools needed for the job.
