agreed, I hope the "tea baggers' have divided the GOP and we progressives can rally a larger majority, we need to improve the way the US government is conducting itself, domesticaly and internationaly. The GOP always says "we need smaller government" what we need is better government, and they are the major problem with that.

People accuse me of being naive for "buying into the 2 party system" but tell me people-what horrible things have democrats STARTED, compared to what republicans have?
Power has not been equally distributed amongst the 2 parties in the past 30 years-it has been much more on the right than the left. The world we live in today is a product of their brilliant ideas.

OK.....Iraq and Afghanistan were "effectively strategized"? I"m no longer "self-deceptive" about my enemies and have found them to include Newt Gingrich and the Republican Party.

Iran is not threatening the United States. Iran was helping us out after 9/11 agianst the anti Shia Taliban. Fellow American conservatives please pull your head out of ass. Do some research.. The Iranains are wiling to help us out if we stop demonizing them.
