@metalround First off, thanks, and yes, it is from Mike(MGM). It's not the TEM E3 though, it's just the standard shadow pickup. I'd say the TEM E3 is worth the money though. You can tune and other stuff with it. GO FOR IT!

is there a difference beween exotic mahogany, and regular mahagony? or just the finish?

with these laminated ukes, it's just the finish. I still play this uke, but I put a low G on it.

@twisterchica22 I feel like a soprano is a great beginner uke and the kala version will be pretty good to start with. Soprano's are cheaper and your fingers don't have to stretch as far for some chords. You can always upgrade later.
