My New Kala Flame Mahogany Ukulele

I received this ukuele a week ago. I didn't want to make a video right away because i had to get used to the size upgrade from my concert. I bought it from MUSICGUYMIC(check him out on ebay) in Kaneohe Hawaii. He included a free clip-on tuner, a nice case and his boy's oiled and adjusted the uke just right, Thank's guys.

The video is lengthy but I take the uke through different tunings(-1/2 step, standard, +1/2 step, and canadian) so people know how it fully sounds. If you watch the whole thing, thanks.

is there a difference beween exotic mahogany, and regular mahagony? or just the finish?

with these laminated ukes, it's just the finish. I still play this uke, but I put a low G on it.

Hey, you're really good! I'm going to start playing the uke as soon as I find one. I was thinking of getting the soprano version of this uke, do you think it would be good for a beginner?

@twisterchica22 I feel like a soprano is a great beginner uke and the kala version will be pretty good to start with. Soprano's are cheaper and your fingers don't have to stretch as far for some chords. You can always upgrade later.

@metalround First off, thanks, and yes, it is from Mike(MGM). It's not the TEM E3 though, it's just the standard shadow pickup. I'd say the TEM E3 is worth the money though. You can tune and other stuff with it. GO FOR IT!
