EDL March Luton 5th Feb 2011

The English Defence League march in Luton 5th February 2011 to protest against Islamic Extremism. A record attendance of around 6-7000 members attended the demo marching through Luton and congregating in St Georges Square.

If these ill educated people are so bent on keeping "England"...."English" why do they fly a French Flag????, and for all of those people that will no doubt comment the " St George's flag that flaps in the wind at every football match and on every march carried out by the uneducated far right is actually the house flag of "Eleanor of Aquitaine" i.e. FRENCH.....we don't have a English flag...!!!!!

I quite am amazed that British people are finally waking up. Im a patriotic Canadian muslim, but I dont like the idiots MAC & Taliban who are violent & want war, ruin Islam`s reputation & image & fight for political goals under pretext of religion. Allah doesnt like war & terrorism among his creations but some of his creations do :(

I also dont like sum of the racism, islamophobia,etc going on in the movement. The EDL need to show their members who are the REAL ENEMY aka the Taliban, MAC, etc.

@winkle51 No, its just that all 3 religions are Abrahamic religions so similarities are there no doubt. Anyway, Islam used to be a religion of peace & tolerance...heres what I mean

Medieval Times= Muslims were tolerant Christians were aggressive

Modern Times=Christians are tolerant =muslims are aggressive

In the End, vast majority 99% of ppl in all religions want peace, its da 1% dat r warlike. Theres strength in tolerance.
