Ok, here I go again...... I have had a few questions reference Cellular Phone Jammer, both via e-mail and YouTube messenger. It seems that people from the West are very skeptical about the products that China sells and they should be. Here are just a few reasons why:

1. the information that is provided for each product can be misleading, inaccurate or incorrect altogether;
2. the price for a particular product is inconsistent from vendor to vendor;
3. reviews on a mobile phone jammer are rare, but when you do see a review they are always positive. The negative reviews are removed as they are bad for business obviously; and
4. this last point is a big one! Shipping can sometimes cost you as much as the product itself and can take 15-20 days for delivery from one vendor and 7-10 working days from another vendor within the same distance from you and the same courier service.

So once again I say shop around, read the product information and keep track of what each site say about each product. If vendor "A" says that their portable cell phone jammer can jam a CDMA or GSM network at a maximum distance of 65ft using a 3dBi gain antenna with 3 watts of output power to the antennas AND now vendor "B" says that their portable cell phone jammer (Same make and model as vendor "A") can jam a CDMA or GSM network at a maximum distance of 45m using the same 3dBi gain antenna with 3 watts of output power to the antennas, the same as vendor "A". The correct answer under a controlled environment would be approximately 20 meters. The question to you is what vendor is providing inaccurate information or inflated statistics? You need to be able to identify discrepancies like this, as they are rampant on the internet. If this question is a problem for you, you may need to take grade 5 math over again. Hint for you..... There is roughly 3 feet to a meter.

Here are a few links that may help you. Be sure to read the technical specifications, as this information will let you know if the jamming device will do what you want. If you are still unsure, contact the vendor to clarify things you don't understand, but be warned. Most of these vendors are just sale people with little to no training or product knowledge of cellular jammers. Here are a few links for you. Some are located in China and other are from the UK.

Take your time and read all the information. This site is a prime example of websites that provide information that is inaccurate or wrong altogether.

  • I bought a claimed 3W one from chinavasion which turned out to be 2W (500mw per band), it’s brilliant for WIFI and Bluetooth, but when it comes to jamming phones, it only works in low reception areas, not through walls, so practically useless for phones. I suppose if you want a proper phone jammer only the military one’s would work not the ones you could buy.

  • Should have watched this video BEFORE I bought two pieces of crap jammers.

  • @masterjedi32

    What website do you suggest that has the most legit specs on their jammers? Thanks!

  • Thanks for the info, wish I'd seen it before buying that piece of junk that is now a paperweight.

  • @OddDude21 Just type Cell Phone Jammer in google, and I am sure you will find them. Do your homework before you buy.

  • @ArmyDeUno If you plan on using it for prolonged periods of time, I definitely think the extreme cooling jammers are best.

  • @ArmyDeUno Both 3 & 4G transfer voice and data, but they were intended for data.

  • @MisterHeizenberg Some countries use cell-phone jammers in movie theaters, religious places, libraries, educational Institutions, hospitals, police forces and military. Jammers are also used in buildings where and when the use of mobile telephones may result in a leak of sensitive information. Most correctional facilities in North America used jammers inside jails.
