2 Oct 1992 (Part 2) - Ross holds Blake to comfort her after the confrontation with Roger. Blake feels that Roger will want revenge on both of them. Ross doesn't want Blake to get hurt if Roger comes after him. Blake is happy that Ross stood up for their relationship, and she thinks they can stand strong together against Roger. Ross doesn't correct Blake when she assumes that his previous declaration was an admission of his love for her. [I don't have the clip, but at this same time, Holly returned home, still silently reeling from how Roger reacted and hurt Blake. It wasn't the show she was expecting when she first followed Roger back to Blake's.] Ross sits with Blake as she tries to process what happened with her father. Ross puts Blake first before his busy schedule. Blake feels that it's not safe for them to be together, but she can handle Roger as long as she knows that Ross will be there for her. Meanwhile, Roger sits in silence at home. Jenna tries to be there for him, but all Roger can think about is making both Ross and Blake pay.

  • ITA that it was a very hard choice, but Blake is also completely in love with Ross. She feels this confrontation with Roger has made them stronger together. It was a good choice, in hindsight, given how long they were together, but at this time she had no idea how long it would last with Ross, but she was still choosing him over her father, whom she had longed for her entire childhood.

  • Liz has the most expressive eyes. She was such a magnificant recast for Blake. After Blake's history with her father, choosing Ross over him must have been the hardest choice she ever made.
