@kirtandsunshyne You're asking a guy with a huge red abrasion on his hand if he should wear gloves? lol He's not going to learn his lesson.

@Wiljannn Hello Wiljannn. I enjoy your videos, I think they are helpful and many people can benefit from what you show. However, as far as I know, Terpentine is a very powerful cancer causing agent called a carcinogen. You MUST always wear gloves, otherwise it will be absorbed through the skin. Also, you must not breath the vapors or it will be absorbed into your lungs. Please make sure you post these warnings on your videos if you use this very dangerous chemical. Otherwise, I enjoy your work!

I have tried bleach, vinegar (not at the same time!) to no avail. It would never occur to me to try turpentine! Even tho I have a fairly new machine, it developed that ugly moldy type stain in the ring. I always leave the door open, but also use cold water and liquid detergent (easier on clothes and power bill). But will try a powder and hot water occasionally for prevention. Thanks again for this tip!
Shouldn't you wear gloves?

@kirtandsunshyne Nah, I don't do this very often so I'm not suspecting major health risks ;-)

I use a 'cream cleaner' such as Cif, that does an excellent job, too.

@KELVINTHECREATOR I use Cif for the lightly soiled door seals. This kind of stains asks for Turpentine ;-)

Even if it would be, it wouldn't harm the door seal.. ;)
