Sencillamente extraordinaria, la vi en vivo en Chile hace dos años cantando "Il Trovatore", su bella voz aparte de ser increiblemente enorme, nos dejó a todos gratamente sorprendidos y maravillados. Grande Michele!!! y adelante con tu promisoria carrera.

This is very good. I was fortunate to hear her in the Verdi Requiem. If you think the video recording is good hearing her live was even better. I was very impressed with the her phrasing and her instrument.

Thanks for the great post! Michele Capalbo just released a Christmas album with the rarely recorded Verdi Ave Maria for soprano and strings, as well as an operatic excerpt from Verdi's La Forza del Destino (La Vergine degli Angeli). There's information about it at her website and on CDBaby

.......and I wanna add something : this is a Lesson of good singing ; wath a Style , wath a Sound , wath a Color in the Voice ...her singing comes from her soul and from her heart ! Congratulation Miss CAPALBO , I wish to see you in ITaly more and more and we Opera Fan of Teatro alla Scala want to see you here , in our Theater - We hope you come soon to sing at Teatro alla Scala !! We miss a Soprano like you !!
