CBC Rally June 4th 2011 ~ Motorcycle Rally

Local 506 organized a motorcycle parade of over 300 members that started at the GE plant and arrived at the Hammermill Center just prior to the start of the contract rally. On Saturday, June 4th the Hammermill Center auditorium in Erie, PA was filled to capacity by 3,500 union members, from more than 20 states and four dozen unions. They gathered to support each other and to speak with a single voice to the General Electric Company (GE): We are prepared to fight if necessary, if the company does not, by the contract expiration date of June 19th, back off from its outrageous attacks on healthcare, pensions and wages.
