A Forbidden Love Chapter 5

Recap~ spun around and was face to face with the most beautiful creature ever.

"Hello Christina," Joe said, smiling his smile his smile that made my my knees melt.

I swallowed and licked my lips. "H-hi." He must think I have some kind of problem with all my stuttering.

"How are you doing?" He asked as I busied my shaking hands with closing my Jaguar's gas tank.

"Good, Y-" I looked over at him leaning against my trunk, stupid idea. I lost my train of thought.

"Here let me," he stood up and walked over to me then took the gas tank cover out of my shaking hands and screwed it on. The small contact sent shocks up my arm.

"Thanks," I managed to say.

"No problem, see you at school." He smiled again then, with his hands in his pockets, walked away. I watched him until he got to his car. There was a girl with beautiful light brown hair sitting on his Porsche's trunk. She was playing with her nails but when Joe walked over she looked up and smiled. I should have known he was to good looking to be single. Even though I knew it was wrong I listened any way.

"Yeah, so I was talking to your mom and she told me that Re go-" the girl got interrupted by a guy with curly hair wrapping his arms around her from behind, picking her up then swinging her around to face him. She laughed then pulled his head down and kissed him.

"Ew you two PDA! Knock it off and get in the car." They separated and laughed.

"Nobody's watchin'" The girl said opening the car door.

"I am Audrey," Joe said, getting in the car.

"Wow Joe, we need to get you a girl." The other boy said, as he got in the car too. I smiled to myself and stopped listening. So he was single. I got into my Jaguar and drove home. Once I was back in my garage I took the gas and put it into my Jetta then spent the night tuning my toys.

"Tina! School! Get ready!" Sam called from the top of the stairs. Early in the morning I moved to the basement and practiced my piano.

"Okay," I yelled. I closed up my piano then went up to my room. After getting myself and my books ready I grabbed my phone then ran to the lounge, where my mom was packing up her briefcase "I'm out, see you around 5:30ish."

"Alright, hun. See you, have a good day." She looked up and smiled then went back to her things.

"You too, bye." I gave her a kiss on her check then ran to the garage. After opening the garage door I started my Jetta and drove to school. The 10 minute ride was filled with anticipation and traffic. As soon as I turned off my car in the school parking lot a yellow Porsche speed in. A smile spread across my face as I watched Joe do a fancy parking job. Once the car stopped moving the boy from the gas station jumped out, follows by the girl, Audrey. Joe stepped out then ran his left hand through his hair, his ring glistening in the sun. He leaned back into the car. Someone tapped on my window, causing me to jump. I looked over and smiled at Jocelyn then got out of my car.

"Hi! Starring at the hunk again?" She asked as we walked through the parking lot.

"No," I lied.

"Sure, his car then." She didn't give me time to reply but kept rambling.
"You need a boyfriend and you have GOT to stop with the cars! I mean really! I'll see you later!" Jocelyn walked off into the crowded hall way. I went through my morning classes thinking about one thing. Him. As soon as I walked into the cafeteria I saw him sitting at my table, our table Smiling, I walked over and sat across from him.

"Hello, I hope you don't mind me sitting here," Joe smiled at me.

"No problem," I smiled back. "Your always welcome."

"Thank you. Aren't you going to eat?"

"Huh? Oh! Uh, I never eat lunch here, it's gross."

"Is it? I haven't tried it and now I might not." He looked over at the lunch
line then back at me.

"You might like it, other people do."

"I'll take your word for it," Joe smiled and met my eyes.

"Oh," I barely made the word audible. He made me speechless.

"I didn't see your Jaguar in the parking lot, I was afraid you weren't
coming today."

"You were?"

"Yeah, I'll see you in Math." He smiled again then stood up and walked away as the bell rand. I watched him until he disappeared. On the way out of the caff. I got stopped by Jocelyn.

"Okay, spill."

"I can't right now, but I'll call you tonight," I promised as I walked off.

"Christina!" I heard her call behind me. I was a nervous wreck thinking about math class. This never happens to me! What is it about this boy? I walked into the class and hurried to my seat.
