Silent Hunter 5 - Manual TDC

The U-boat has been running silent at 122m to slip under an escort screen. The soundman has been picking up merchant contacts, lots of them. The captain orders periscope depth, then climbs into the conning tower and raises the attack scope. He picks out a nice, juicy freighter and orders the XO to man the TDC. The captain then calls out the settings and launches a salvo.

Note, this is a preview version, it is not the final game.

Manual TDC interface is so stupid now. Plus,the freighter has a "life bar"?!? ARRRRRGGGGG!

the game [not simulation this time :( ] needs a new interface immediately, because the current one does not make feel it realistic... it's so stupid... The best interface is still belong to the Silent Hunter 3.. Recognize manual is so shity... graphics are not that better than SH4, but it freezes so bad...

How do I turn off the little thumbnail of the XO in periscope mode. It's in my way.

@YorkGod1 its the plus and minus button on the keypad, press F1 for help menu in game!

which button on key board speeds up time in the campaign mode....i cant find it, so havent played the game in ages because its far too slow to play. so can anyone help? cheers

Unfortunately this gaming is a steaming pile even at 100% realism. Just like in SH4, nothing works half the time and it does what it wants, when it wants.
