During World War I, a boy named Tom Gratten is sent to his relatives in the country. As it turns out, the Moors he lives nearby and goings on there are a source of a series of wild adventures as he and his friends face spies, saboteurs and other threats.

Was ripping yarns based on this ? Also notice that propellor was put on wrong way round ,look at the aerofoil section .

I remember seeing this as a kid in the early 70s. Being a plane buff from an early age I had always wondered how they fired machine guns through propellors in WW1. I learned later that Anthony Fokker devised the mechanism for the Germans. I know now that it was Corporal Marsh who devised it for the British.

I remember watching this serie at TV in Italy, in 1973 or 74 as I was a kid.... I had many difficults to find it again in YouTube, as I forget the exact name. I see it was in colors, at time the italian Tv had only black and white. Thank you for posting it !
