  • Could it be you got the year wrong a bit? "My Father's Eyes" didn't come untl in 1998 on his "Pilgrim "album, not 1992! Something utterly smells fishy here....

  • Ah Hah! Gotcha! Yes, Clapton didn't release this officially until 1998 on Pilgrim. He had this song when unplugged came out. I liked this version better than the 1998 released version.

  • I miss looking into my fathers eyes, i miss looking up to see his beautiful green eyes watching me with a little smile upon his face, i miss how those eyes could read me like a book, i miss the strength and the love i found in them. I miss my dad

  • @jobluz06 This because Eric used a Soldano during that period, that's why his sound was a bit different.

The One More Car CD and DVDs feature him using "Crash I" plugged into a blond VibroKing combo.

  • Electric clapton

    Oh for GODS sake!!!

  • @DeathWithinTenSteps i got the bootleg cd of this concert. Very good concert it is too

  • @megafuze08 The Lord gods not real get over yourself. Watch Zeitgeist for facts. Clapton is God! :-)

  • @traderfiles Me too! Much much much better. Wish they never messed with it.

  • @megafuze08- You have no right saying what any one can or can't say. You are being immature from censoring people for expressing their opinion. So they call Eric Clapton a god. BFD. They aren't calling him THE GOD, or saying bow down to Eric Clapton, he is our one and only God... It is not showing ANY disrespect for God because there is a difference between a god and God. God (capital G) refers to the Lord, and god (lower case) refers to any deity.

  • People, it is extremely inappropriate to refer to ANY human being as 'god', let alone Eric Clapton. Please refrain from doing that, even in figurative connotation. That's a huge dishonor to the Lord, and quite frankly, immature. Thank you for your understanding.
