New Year's Day Parade, 2008

Our band and guard marched in the parade. It was a huge trip. We had great fun!
In addition to marching, I also got to play my horn and sing in the Gala Concert that the MC talks about. The people in white shirts in the back were the orchestra and choir kids along with the parents and other adult tag-alongs who went on the trip but don't march with the band. They handed out keychains, pens and whatnot to the crowd.
My brother's on the mellophone somewhere in the band, and you can see my mom in the back with the orchestra kids.
I'm in the colorguard, in the front row, in the middle because I was captain, and I got to pick where everybody stood! Win.
