Xbox 360 Elite Review

PS3Gameguru reviews the Microsoft Xbox 360 Elite console (this model includes the black colouring & 120GB HDD)

Pros
+ Xbox Live
+ Huge games library (but don't forget the 360 did get a 1 year headstart over the PS3)
+ Well-designed wireless controller.
+ HDMI cable included (with Elite model only but the PS3 doesn't include it with any of it's models & as of September 2009 Xbox 360 Elites do not include a HDMI cable as they also have been discontinued & replaced with the new 'S' models in both 4GB & 250GB configurations respectively & these models are bundled with standard yellow, white, red standard definition AV cables ONLY)
+ Classic arcade games available on XBLA all remastered in HD are an absolute joy to play.

Cons
- RROD
- Huge power brick
- Xbox Live is a subscription service that needs to be paid for
- Noisy DVD drive (but this can be stopped by installing games to the hard drive one of the features included with the NXE)
- Rechargeable batteries for the wireless controllers need to be bought separately
- No built-in Wi-Fi (requires an external adapter to be mounted on the back of the console for wireless connection to Xbox Live)

@boring45ful not this model reviewed in the video you'll need to buy an external adapter to use wi-fi but the newwer 'S' 360 models all come with wi-fi built-in.

@gabrielblackstock no it does not you'll get the free month of gold when you sign up for xbox live but after that if you want the features of gold to play online, access facebook & twitter & get some early access to content you'll need to get an xbox live gold subscription.
