I found these brackets at Ace Hardware today and they fit perfectly in the yoke of my marksman sling shot. I have mine zipped tied on my sing shot right now, but I think velcro or magnets would be a awesome way to hold this bracket on as a arrow rest. Here are the parts I used for this mod. And by all means, tinker around and try to come up with ideas on how to improve this, but I think with this one I am on to something. Outside Corner Brace (They are zinc plated and come in a pack of 4 at Ace Hardware and they are 2-1/2 in. x 5/8 in.) I used the soft velcro (not the hooks) with the sticky back to make a soft arrow rest. And zip ties.

  • Check out my video where I actually shoot this set up. It works out pretty good. I show in the other video the velcro to soften the rest for the arrow. I need some practice though in the video but still shows the concept at work.

  • your arrow wont rest in line with your tubes, it'd work better if it was at proper height. How well does this work for you though?

  • Thanks for your experimenting,I'm going to give this a try.
