Rhinos under threat (Not recommended for children)

This movie was produced by UNTV in collaboration with the CITES Secretariat in an effort to raise public awareness of the current crisis faced by rhinoceros through illegal killing and international trade in rhino horn.

The movie was be first shown on 18 June 2012 in Rio de Janeiro on the occasion of the Rio+20 Conference.

Rhino horn products should be banned throughout the entire world, and those with items made from such should have them confiscated and destroyed. Asia and the Middle East are by far the biggest culprits. :(

I feel so sad for the World. The black market is tragic, and will probably never stop this animal slaughter. I feel ashamed of the people who thinks the rhinos' horn is magical in some kind of way. I feel bad that i can't contribute to help the rhinos, but i know and hope the people in Africa will find a way to stop this madness.
